What you call 'contradiction' I call 'complement'.

About This Quote

When I hear people speak of "contradiction," I immediately know they are not speaking of the kind of thing you, or I, would call "contradiction." They are talking about the kind of thing you, or I, would call "conflict." This is not a bad thing. Conflict can be used to create "conflict resolution," which is one of the things we do when we talk about "contradiction."
